About 321 Lift Off Law & Facilitation

Rocket Launch Space Discovery

After two decades in financial services, I made a deliberate choice: to leave an industry driven by shareholder profits and pivot to work that improves the situation of customers and individuals who need support.  I would like to protect customers who too often do not benefit from their relationship with financial institutions.

As a result, I’m offering two types of services:

1. Consumer Protection Attorney Representation – Represent consumers in Connecticut-based matters.  This includes both defendant work (i.e. debt settlement) and some plaintiff work (e.g. illegal debt collection practices).

2. Mediation – Serve as an impartial and neutral facilitator to help parties resolve disputes (nationwide) outside the court system.  I mediate all types of matters, from consumer, family and housing.

I can be more effective in debt collection actions by using the expertise I honed over 20 years with financial institutions to understand what drives collection actions.  I understand the motivations, pressure points, and structures of financial institutions.  At the same time, I see what they often don’t: human beings and the impact of their actions.

I take that expertise to help clients find clarity, protection, and resolution in moments that can feel overwhelming, unfair, and deeply personal.

HOW I DO IT

  • I lead with efficiency, because people seeking help should not be buried under accruing fees or dragged through delay after delay.
  • I lead with listening, because every dispute holds more than legal facts; it holds fear, stress, power imbalance, and human need.
  • I lead with honesty, because real advocacy requires transparency about risks, options, and outcomes.
